EmpoweringCPO Services Private Limited (“EmpoweringCPO”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and how we use, share and protect it. It applies to visitors to our website, people who contact us, people who apply for a job with us and people who buy our reports. It does not cover information we handle for our clients as part of consulting or outsourcing work. That information is governed by our agreements with those clients, including confidentiality terms.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us: when you use our contact form, book a discovery call, message us (including on WhatsApp) or email us, we collect your name, work email, company, phone number, what you are interested in and your message. When you apply for a job, we collect your contact details, resume and anything else you send us. When you buy a report, we collect your name, email address and billing details, and our payment provider processes your payment.

Information collected automatically: We collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages you visit, using cookies and similar tools (see section 6).

2. How we use your information

We use your information to reply to your enquiries and arrange calls, to deliver reports and process orders, to consider job applications, to understand how the website is used and improve it, to keep the website secure, and to meet legal and tax obligations.

3. Our legal basis

We process your information because you have asked us to (for example, to reply to your message or deliver your report), because you have given consent where we ask for it, because we need to meet legal obligations, or because it is in our legitimate interests to run and improve our business and website in ways that do not override your rights.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, under appropriate safeguards. These include our website hosting and email provider (Bluehost), our customer relationship management system (Zoho), our analytics providers (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity), our advertising measurement provider (Google Ads), and our payment providers. We may also share it with our group offices in the USA and UAE for sales follow-up, and when the law requires it or to protect our rights.

5. Where your information is processed

Our team is based in India and our sales offices are in the USA and UAE. Our service providers may store or process information in other countries, including the United States. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to protect it as required by applicable law.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website. They fall into three categories.

Necessary cookies make the website work, for example to keep the site secure, remember your cookie choice, and run the checkout and order process when you buy a report. They cannot be switched off.

Analytics cookies help us understand how the website is used, such as which pages are visited, from where, and how visitors move around the site. We use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity for this. Clarity may record how visitors click and scroll so we can improve the site. Where the law requires it, we set these cookies only after you accept them.

Marketing cookies help us measure how well our advertising and content perform. We use Google Ads conversion measurement for this. We set these cookies only after you accept them.

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies using the banner when you first visit, and you can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also control or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the website works.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Enquiry records are kept while there is a business relationship or reasonable interest and are then deleted or anonymised. Job applications are kept for 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

8. How we protect your information

We use reasonable security measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, loss or misuse, and we limit access to people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these rights, write to us at the address below. We will reply within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law, including Indian data protection law as it comes into force.

10. Children

Our website is for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Compliance Management Tool

Compliance management is very critical as otherwise the procurement organization may run into a scenario where there is a huge gap between realized savings and reported savings. Many procurement functions estimate large savings numbers when contracts are signed. They also invest significant time and effort in negotiating contracts for necessary goods and services, only to have a third or more of their purchasing dollars flow outside those deals. Some of the obvious fall-outs of non-compliance and maverick purchases are:

  • Very high prices
  • Risk of losing out on volume discounts and rebates

As compared to the current contract that was finalized after the sourcing process, the tool helps in tracking:

  • Vendor Compliance
  • Price Compliance

The objective of this tool is to ensure that the orders are placed only with the vendors that were shortlisted after the sourcing process and at the same price that was agreed upon and negotiated during and after the strategic sourcing process.
